Harmony Bowl Whistler Ski Map

Harmony Bowl at Whistler-Blackcomb Ski Resort in Whistler British Columbia, Canada

Painted in 1999

It should come as no surprise to anyone who’s ever skied Whistler Blackcomb that it’s impossible to capture the entirety of Whistler skiing in a single trail map. There are simply too many slopes, too many peaks and aspects to depict so simply. So James Niehues painted supplemental maps, like this one of Harmony Bowl. Located off the back of Whistler, Harmony Bowl offers some of the best under-the-radar skiing in the area. It’s not the obvious first stop for most tourists, so good snow there stays preserved longer, and there are often untracked powder stashes to be found. And the terrain in Harmony Bowl is huge and varied, from long treed runs to wide-open bowls, and interesting cliffs and chutes.
