Homewood Gallery

Nestled on the west side of Lake Tahoe, Homewood is one of the few areas that I have sketched, but never painted.

Royal Gorge Gallery

With over 6000 acres of terrain in Soda Springs California, Royal Gorge grooms 92 trails. My maps featured this huge resort in the early 1990s.

Sugar Bowl Gallery

Spread across four peaks, Sugar Bowl provides a wide variety of terrain. Sugar Bowl is an important area, the site of California's first chair lift.

Tahoe-Donner Gallery

Originally opened with the alpine ski area, Tahoe-Donner now also has an extensive cross-country system and year-round recreation.

Boreal Gallery

Boreal has a lot of great ski traits - it opens early, has both downhill and a huge terrain park, and is easily accessible in Soda Springs. It was one of my earliest paintings, and I started painting the backside in 1992.

Olympic Valley Gallery

The Olympic Valley in California hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics. I first painted this area some years later in 1988 and again in 2008.

Mt Rose Gallery

Mt Rose has a nearly century-long history of skiing as the local mountain for Reno. I've been able to sketch and paint it several times since 1995.

Northstar Gallery

Northstar occupied an iconic spot on the north end of Lake Tahoe. I have sketched and painted it in the summer and winter several times over the years.

Truckee Gallery

For centuries, the Truckee area has been the gateway to North Lake Tahoe. Over the decades, I've captured it from many angles and in many seasons.

Incline Village Gallery

In the northeast corner of Lake Tahoe, Incline Village is a beautiful location. I've sketched and painted the bay in the summer, and the nearby ski areas in winter.

Heavenly

I have painted Heavenly's trail map on six occasions since 1992. Each time I sketch or paint it, I capture something new about the moutain.

South Tahoe Gallery

To the south of Lake Tahoe lies local favorites Kirkwood and Sierra-at-Tahoe. Both are classics of California skiing that I captured in the 2000s.

Lake Tahoe Regional Paintings and Sketches

The sparkling blue waters of Lake Tahoe with the mountains all around make it a truly special place. These regional views are truly special because they capture the essence of Tahoe.

Other Available Original Artwork

I have painted nearly every ski resort in North America, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, plus other views of the National Parks, summer scenes, and landscapes. In addition to the featured collection, see what else is available here.

Limited Edition Canvas Art Prints

I have released a limited edition run of top quality, canvas art prints for sale. Only 25 signed-and-numbered prints will be available for each mountain. The collection includes select mountains from Utah and Colorado.
