Snowmass Ski Resort in Aspen, Colorado
Painted in 1991 for Snow Country Magazine
Too often, Snowmass is just lumped in with Aspen, a hyphenated duo where Snowmass never gets to take center stage. Luckily, this ski map rectifies that and gives Snowmass space to shine. While it’s always billed behind Aspen, Snowmass is actually the largest mountain in the resort complex, bigger than Aspen, Highlands, and Buttermilk combined. Snowmass has 91 named trails and 3,300 acres of skiing, it’s the perfect canvas to explore and find your own secret stashes. But that doesn’t mean it doesn't have the same polished amenities as Aspen. Instead, it shares the same high-end skiing experience that makes this area so special.
