Michigan is home to plenty of great venues for skiers and boarders to make turns, and Boyne stands out among them. With 60 runs, four terrain parks, and 850 acres of skiing, Boyne has everything you need to make your ski vacation dreams a reality. But Boyne still has a homey feel, maybe because they remember their humble beginnings. Boyne was founded on land bought from a senator for $1 and used the first chairlift ever built, purchased used from Sun Valley to ferry skiers up the mountain. And that scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit is still alive and well on the slopes of Boyne. For Michigan locals and visitors alike, Boyne is a must-visit.
