Mount Sunapee Ski Map

Mt Sunapee Ski Area

Located near Claremont, New Hampshire, Mount Sunapee is special for several reasons. By the numbers, it’s not the biggest or tallest ski resort in the area, but going off numbers alone fails to capture what makes Sunapee stand out. Located on a State Park, Sunapee has a great snowmaking system (97% of its terrain is covered by snowmaking) and an impressive terrain park program with four distinct parks and an ever-rotating cast of features. And eleven lifts mean it’s easy to access whatever area of the mountain catches your fancy.

1,500 feet of vertical relief means that there are plenty of long runs to be had, and 66 named runs make exploring the mountain a blast. So if you like that home hill feel, combined with great snowmaking and interesting terrain, Mount Sunapee is probably right up your alley. And James Niehues captured the soul of Sunapee in this ski map he painted in 1998. From every tree to the runs, and even buildings in the base area, this is the Sunapee you know and love, ready to be hung on your wall and enjoyed even when you can’t ski there.
