Painted in 1999
Aficionados of Sundance like to claim that it’s not just a mountain, it’s an experience. And that makes sense, from the village to its highest chairlift, Sundance exudes a special kind of energy. But beyond that, it’s a great ski hill. Founded by Robert Redford, Sundance has over 500 acres of skiable terrain, served by seven lifts. And with an average of 300” of natural snow every year, those lifts often drop skiers on top of some of the best powder runs of their lives. But what really makes Sundance special is the community. No matter the season, you’ll be surrounded by like-minded people taking in the best the mountains have to offer.
